Why do we collect personal information?
We collect personal information if considered necessary for the primary purpose of providing quality recovery coaching services and related business functions and will do so in a lawful manner. If you choose not to provide the personal information we seek, we may not be able to provide you with some or all of our services (and may affect the quality of any services rendered).

This usually occurs when you communicate with us electronically via our website, email or other electronic methods (including customer surveys), you complete an application form or contract or you speak with us over the phone or in person, including during the provision of recovery coaching and related services. the provision of recovery coaching services to you;

disclosing to another practitioner for supervision or consultation directly related to your ongoing support;
disclosing to your doctor(s), other health professionals or service providers involved in your health management;
disclosing to our employees, officers, insurers, professional advisers, agents, suppliers or subcontractors to the extent reasonably necessary for the provision of recovery coaching services to you; and
disclosing personal information to the extent that we are required to do so by law, in connection with any prospective or actual legal proceedings or in order to establish, exercise or defend our legal rights.
How we store your personal information
We may hold your personal information in either electronic or hard copy form, which may include on- and off-site third-party servers or storage facilities. We will take reasonable physical, technical and organisational security measures to protect the personal information we hold about you. However, we are not responsible for the privacy policies or practices or storage security measures of any third-party provider. Once we no longer have use for your personal information or are no longer required to hold this information under data retention laws, we will confidentially destroy or permanently de-identify this information.
Inquiries, access and correction
Under the Privacy Act, you have a right to both access your personal information and request that we correct any of your personal information that is inaccurate, incomplete or out-of-date. If you wish to access or correct your personal information, please contact us via email. A fee may apply to provide a copy of your personal information. In some circumstances, we may deny access, in which case we will tell you why and inform you of any recourse that may be available to you.
